5 Tibetan Rites

The five Tibetan rites are a group of excises said to be the fountain of youth. The series of exercises do balance the 7 basic chakras and when things are balanced and flowing right miracles are possible.

It is suggested to do all exercises twice a day. Each without stress as each of us may have different abilities to do such.

 Exercise 1.

This first movement is supposed to help  inner ear health and balance.

With palms facing down spin in a clockwise direction maintaining full breaths.  (left to right) If prone to dizziness focus on the left hand.

 Breath deeply....

Exercise 2.

This is supposed to help the metabolism, strengthen the abdomen and help digestion.

Laying on the back  with palms down inhale tucking chin in and legs up. exhale and put them down.

Exercise 3.

Improves breathing, thyroid, spinal flexibility and stretches the thighs.

Tilt chin in for a moment. then lean back grabbing the back of the thighs as you breath in deeply then as you go up breath out.

 Exercise 4.

This is good for the legs, arms, abdomen, circulation, breathing and thyroid.

First sit with legs out and head tilted in, hands to the sides palms down. Tuck chin in for a moment.  Take a deep breath and allow the head to drop back and let the hips push forward and feet to be standing. Exhale and return to start position.

Exercise 5.

For over all stamina and strength.

Begin laying flat on the stomach then using hands lift head back and arch back.
Take a deep breath and raise bottom like a backwwards v.
Exhale and return to starting position. When ready get up and go on with the day.

Remember these positions may be easy for some and not for others so take your time and do what you can til you are able to do all exercises two times a day. Do not do them swiftly but at a nice pace with good form.

Remember body and mind health together makes for a balances one. Here is to your total health. namaste _/|\_
