Happy Full Moon February 22nd, 2016!!!!

Please remember this number 9 year is very much about healing. Cosmic influences that have been for over a year are coming to a head now.  Like an egg breaking wide open and the solutions being within.  Much of it has to do with relationships.  This can be any sort of relationship romantic love, parent and child… and friend. It all revolves around the healing of a broken heart. Our closest relationships should be a major priority and much of the time they are not and the universe is saying to us now enough! This has to stop.  This can come in many different ways; resolution, closure, farewell. Far-reaching change is needed and will be.  Embrace this time of major growth.

You may well have been feeling a strong newness and willingness to look at things in a new way inventive way; outside of any boundaries.  Jump into it with both feet and see what grooviness you create in your life.

This is a Virgo moon so with all that comes up the key word is detail. Paying meticulous attention,   communicating well with others… doing your best at the moment with the idea of doing better. Yes, seeing the potential and just flowing with it all not pushing things.  This actually tend to come to us better when we are in the flow then if we try to push. In it all we see how we can do for others. What can we pass on? Please keep in mind all we do for others to be in a healthy way using our good judgement.

When things get out of whack just put love into the equation and see what happens. And even though you may feel very enthusiastic remember there is a time for rest too.   So ride this Virgo wave seeing how you can shine in the best of ways.

Key words: completeness, change, balance
Affirmations:
I pay attention to my needs.
I leap forward to the blessings the universe has in store for me.
Ready set forward!
I allow new ways to flow to me and integrate them in my world; change is good.

Yellow Diamond:  This stone is about creativity and expressiveness which is very much part of this cycle.  As well as being focused and patient.  Luck is also enhanced so things will flow to us well. Happy New Moon January 8th, 2016/ Year of the Fire Monkey!!!!

Wow this New moon and the year of the Fire Monkey come on the same day. A very power time! Monkey is the 9th animal of the zodiac and this is a 9 year so that powerful influence is compounded.

This year pushes for major change to go over and beyond fearlessly. What do you want, who do you wish to be. Just leap and be.  Let your curiosity drive you to wonderful places you have never been and create. You feel clear like much has been completed so that you can take those next steps forward.

You may feel that inner guidance really strong now directing things.

And my Darlings, the year of the Fire (red) Monkey is here!!! Expect to accomplish much and much quicker. Things will seem easier and new ways of seeing things will come to you. Things could feel more light hearted in your expression.

“I am the seasoned traveler
Of the Labyrinth.
The genius of alacrity,
Wizard of the impossible.
My brilliance is yet unmatched
in its originality.
My heart’s filled with potent magic
that could cast a hundred spells.
I am put together
for mine own pleasure
I AM THE MONKEY.”

Monkey is rather cleaver and is about solutions in great intellect and a bit mischievous too.  So expect this year to be really wonderfully intense.
In China they follow a system called Earthly branches which is either about years months or hours.  Through the zodiac this is how the years are counted; the twelve Terrestrial branches. Monkey is on the 9th branch called Shen branch.
Again think of the 9 year we are having which is about miracles, fulfillment and then look at this awesome year of the Fire Monkey and it being the ninth animal of the zodiac… Now look at the nature of Monkey a little bit deeper. Monkey is very free spirited not given to limitations or feelings of guilt a true go getter. There is no impossible in monkeys vocabulary it is either immediate or a little time but that is all. This New moon is just the beginning. So I wish you all a most bountiful New Year!
Some born in the year of the monkey are: Leonardo da Vinci, , Eleanor Roosevelt, Mick Jagger, Charles Dickens, Joe Cocker, George Lucas, Diana Ross, Julio Iglesias, Annie Oakley, Macauley Culkin and Elizabeth Taylor.
Monkey as a totem is very much of balance.  You will find yourself looking at the whole picture the dark and light of human nature and thus in this acceptance of both sides you will be empowered and understand seeing it all in a positive way. Monkey will lead you to inspiration, creativity, and insight.

Key words: fearless, accomplished
Affirmations:   I bravely go forth and accomplish!
I welcome my desires.
I accept all of me and I grow from it.
Stone for this cycle:
Amethyst:  a powerful protective and healing stone that can help us to move forward faster in this awesome cycle.
Amber: In this cycle of the Fire monkey we have this lovely stone to further add swift healing and confidence and creativity.

Happy Imbolic/Groundhog day!!!

Happy Imbolic!!! This is one of the wonderful observances in the wheel of the year that comes from the earliest spiritual paths. Those who honor Nature and true pure forces that be.

It is the first of 4 Sabbats all of which honor the changing of the seasons and are reflective of the solar part of things.  There are also Esbats which are the other half of the wheel of the year celebrations and are full moon celebrations.

The earliest spiritual paths truly have a rapport with nature and that is why so many still follow these true ways.

Symbols:
Animals: Serpent, cat
Tree: Willow
Plants: Heather, violet, basil
Candle colors:  pink, green, blue, white
Rocks: Garnet, rose quartz, bloodstone, amethyst, moonstone

Imbolic, Is honored by many paths and peoples under various names:  Feast of torches, Oimelic, Lupercalia, Feast of Pan, Brighid’s day and many others. It is when the coming Spring is celebrated.  It is a time for that Spring cleaning. The long cold winter is beginning to fade and the sun is coming to play. Be ready to welcome  Spring!!!

Mother Earth is fertile.  And a cycle of new beginnings in the world and our lives is soon to come.  Welcome them.

Many Honor the Goddess Brighid( also know as saint Bidget)  who is the triple Goddess; the Sun Goddess symbolic of the coming of Spring; the Patron of the healers, bards, poets, and magicians giving her healing, inspiration, and sharing the truth (light) with all.

Some light candles in a circle all lit from the  first one and think of one in need .

For those in the new traditions, Happy Groundhog day. I just found out Phil the groundhog did not see his shadow  so early Spring ahead. The Celtics had a similar day where they would watch a snake to see if it saw its shadow singing this song:
Thig an nathair as an toll
(The serpent will come from the hole)
la donn Bride
(on the brown day of Bride (Brighid)
Ged robh tri traighean dh’an
(though there may be three feet of snow)
Air leachd an lair
(On the surface of the ground.)
No matter the tradition or the time we have always been interested in the passing of the seasons.  And welcoming the new season with all the best intentions will draw the best to us. What we will shall be.

Affirmations:
I welcome new beginnings.
I create the life I desire.
