A time to rejuvinate

In Clarissa Pikola Estes' book Women who run with the wolves She uses stories to teach I love that as I myself am a storyteller, and love to share quotes for the wisdom in them.

One of her stories talks of a man who comes to a woman's door late at night and how she nurtures him through the night. As she does he becomes more renewed. He even looks younger.  She takes a golden hair from his head just before the daylight when he vanished into the sky as the sunlight.

The symbolism of her story is that we all go through difficult times. When we just need to sit back and be nourished. Some are fearful of doing this as they feel they will waste time. But think of the time wasted when you are doing this with a stressed mind and body and may add more to that which you are trying to resolve. So relax, take that time to heal or rejuvenate. then you can move forward in more productive and positive way.
